What are the effects of high blood sugar?
What are the effects of high blood sugar? High blood sugar is extremely dangerous and affects almost every body system. High blood sugar, more commonly called hyperglycemia, causes damage to the body if it stays like that for too long. Diabetes is severe high blood sugar.
This condition affects over 30 million people in the United States alone. This disease is quickly becoming an epidemic that has most nations taking notice.
Diabetes is where the pancreas organ is not working efficiently and producing the needed amounts of a vital hormone called insulin. Insulin is responsible for the energy that your body has. It must bond with the sugar in the blood before it can be absorbed by the cells. So if there is not enough insulin two things happen.
The first thing is that the body starts to weaken as it doesn’t get the fuel it needs. The second severe thing is that the glucose levels begin to rise rapidly. Once those glucose levels reach a certain point they begin to damage the body and some of its main systems. The most common damage that occurs from diabetes is damage to the heart, kidney, eyes, nerves, and the chance of getting diseases. So this means that controlling your blood sugar is extremely important. But what are the effects of high blood sugar?
What is a glucose levels chart?
What is a glucose levels chart? A glucose levels chart is a wonderful tool for the diabetic it allows you to chart each glucose measurement and when it was. This allows you show your doctor what your measurements have been. There are three main forms of the horrible disease called diabetes.
The first and most serious diabetes form is where the pancreas organ creates too little of the chemical called insulin. This first serious diabetes form is usually diagnosed when the person is young and a still a child, generally less when they are less than 20 years of age. This first main diabetes form is the hardest on a family as it requires full diet changes to everything they eat and do.
The second serious diabetes form is due to the pancreas not producing enough of the chemical insulin and the body not responding well to the insulin that it is given to the cells. This serious diabetes form is also most commonly associated with people who are way overweight and do not exercise enough as their body needs to. This second serious diabetes kind is affecting more people and more than any other form of the diabetes condition. This is because of the loads of sweet sugar stuffed foods people in the United States eat every day of the year.
What are the dangers of gestational diabetes blood sugar levels?
What are the dangers of gestational diabetes blood sugar levels? Gestational diabetes is another serious diabetes problem. Gestational diabetes is a type of diabetes that forms while a mother is pregnant. This very serious and can hurt the baby.
Gestational diabetes is where the body fails to produce the required amounts of a chemical known as insulin. This insulin is responsible for both the energy of the child and the mother. The insulin that is created by the pancreas is injected into the blood as it passes through it. The insulin binds with glucose molecules in the blood stream. If there is not enough insulin to bind with the glucose the glucose levels begin to rise. Once this glucose amount reaches a certain level the body begins to suffer severe permanent damage.
The parts of the body most commonly damaged are the heart, eyes, nerves, and kidney. These places become quickly damaged by the high blood sugar levels. This means that controlling a safe blood sugar level is a have to. But with gestational diabetes it isn’t just the mother who suffers damage. The child will also suffer damage and this damage may not be noticed till later on in life. So knowing the dangers of gestational diabetes blood sugar levels is key in going thru it.

What is a glucose testing kit?
What is glucose testing meter Kit? For diabetics knowing what this is very serious. They need this in order to maintain a safe blood sugar level. Diabetes is a disease that is currently taking over the nation and the world.
Today’s sugar filled foods and the ability for diabetics to live longer are only fueling the already massive fire. Diabetes is a very serious condition where the body is failing to get the required amounts of chemical called insulin. This absolutely necessary hormone is produced by the pancreas. For unknown reasons the pancreas will stop or slow in production of this chemical. This chemical is used by the body to transform the glucose (sugar) in the blood stream into fuel that the body’s cells are able to use.
Without the proper amounts of this necessary hormone the glucose levels in the blood begin to rise to high levels. Once they reach a certain high level the body begins to suffer damage. The damage most commonly associated with high blood sugar levels is nerve damage, heart damage, increases in the chance of heart disease, kidney damage, and eye damage. But most of this can be avoided if the diabetic can lower their blood sugar level and keep it at that lower level. Blood glucose testing kits are a major part of containing the blood sugar level.
