symptons of diabetes

Symptoms of diabetes are different for everyone and take into consideration different underlying factors such as age, sex and heredity just to name a few. Some of the few common symptoms that come with diabetes is frequent urination, trouble quenching your thirst and sweats.

Symptoms of diabetes are typically seen as the same because there is underlying criteria that doctor’s and physicians go by before they will test a person for diabetes. For example, someone who never seems to have trouble staying thirsty all the time or keeping themselves hydrated is generally a red flag. Someone who is having to go to the bathroom a lot more often than normal, may be showing signs of being a diabetic.

For most people they are unsure if they are showing symptoms of diabetes because they are just unsure. The best way to know is by knowing your body, after all no one knows your body like you do. If you know that you are trying to drink everything in sight because you just can’t seem to get enough sugar then you need to contact your doctor or family physician and let them know. If you know you normally only go to the bathroom and urinate 5 times a day and now you are going 10 then obviously it isn’t the normal for you so you need to contact your doctor.

Insulin is a very important as the body needs it to change the sugar in the blood into fuel that the body can use. When the insulin levels are to low for the sugar to all be used it begins to build up. At a certain level the body begins to suffer serious damage. Damage that can be done includes heart damage, eye damage, nerve damage, and kidney damage. This makes spotting diabetes a serious need, especially in children. What is a symptom of sugar diabetes? Sugar diabetes is a serious condition that changes lifestyles of both the diabetic and all who are around them, for better and for worse.

Diabetes is a condition where the body’s organ known as the pancreas fails to create enough of chemical called insulin. The chemical insulin is responsible for the energy that you have as it converts the sugar molecules in the blood into fuel that the cells can use.

When the needed amounts of insulin are not present the blood sugar levels rise. Once they reach a certain level they begin to damage the body such as heart damage, nerve damage, eye damage, and the worst is kidney damage. These effects are all the more reason to spot diabetes early on, so what is a symptom of sugar diabetes?

A symptom of sugar diabetes could be one of many things. The list includes thirst, excessive urination, extreme hunger, and irritability. A symptom of sugar diabetes should be checked out immediately due to the damage that can be done.

Signs and Symptoms of Hyperglycemia

signs and symptoms of hyperglycemiaSigns and symptoms of hyperglycemia, or high blood sugar, are almost always an indicator of developing diabetes. Diabetes comes in two forms, type 1, or juvenile diabetes, and type 2, or adult onset diabetes, either type has hyperglycemia as one of its main problem causing issues and it is the signs and symptoms of hyperglycemia which leads most people to the doctor for a glucose tolerance test in order to determine if they have diabetes.

Hyperglycemia has three classic symptoms, increased thirst, increased urination, and increased hunger. All three of these are related to the fact that the body is attempting to rid itself of excess glucose. Diabetes develops when the body is no longer able to produce insulin or the cells of the body have become resistant to the action of insulin. This causes glucose levels to rise because it is only through the action of insulin that glucose can pass through cell walls to be used for energy. Because glucose is such a large molecule it attracts water to itself, pulling water out of the spaces between the cells, and as the body tries to get rid of excess glucose through the kidneys it causes increased urination. Increased urination leads to dehydration which causes the increased thirst. Since the glucose can’t pass through the cell walls and feed the cells the body thinks it is starving and so hunger increases. Of course fatigue, weight loss, dry mouth, blurred vision, slowed healing are all also signs and symptoms of hyperglycemia.

signs of being a diabetic

Do you know the signs of being a diabetic? Diabetes is a very serious disease and should be checked out at the first thought of having the disease. Diabetes is where the body produces too little of the chemical known as insulin. Insulin is one of the body’s most important chemicals. It is responsible for the energy that you have. It takes the glucose in the blood and changes it into fuel that the body’s cells can use.

So when the pancreas produces to little insulin the glucose levels rise to very high levels. The high glucose levels wreak havoc upon the body damaging the heart, kidneys, nerves, and eventually blindness. Making knowing whether you have or are risk of diabetes a need to know. This is the causes of being a diabetic.

There are many signs of being a diabetic that can tell you of nearing diabetes, including test your doctor can perform to give an accurate diagnose. Many of them may seem normal for a short amount of time but are not normal. Excessive thirst, excessive urination, unexplained weight loss, altered mental status, and excessive eating are all symptoms. Excessive thirst is caused by excessive urination; the body urinates to rid itself of the excess glucose that is damaging it, thus creating the need to replenish the body.

What are the borderline diabetes symptoms?

borderline diabetes symptoms

borderline diabetes symptoms

Do you know what the symptoms are for borderline diabetes symptoms? Diabetes is high blood glucose, or blood sugar as it is commonly called. This is because of the body’s failure to produce the correct amounts of insulin, which is a chemical used to convert the glucose (sugar) into fuel. When insulin levels are down, glucose levels are up and this can cause serious damage.

Diabetes, and even borderline diabetes problems are kidney failure, blindness, heart disease, and nerve damage. All of which cause a painful life in the end. So how do you detect diabetes or pre-diabetes and stop or reverse it?

People with pre-diabetes have higher than average blood sugars levels but are not at high enough levels to be diagnosed with diabetes. Still the high amounts can still cause damage. Pre-diabetes gives you a large chance of developing borderline type 2 diabetes. This makes you highly susceptible to strokes and heart disease.
